last friday, world expo in shanghai;

we started the day in europe

mervi outside the finnish pavilion

marimekko, nokia, suunto = finland

in denmark, you could go bicycling

den lille hav frue lives in shanghai to the end of october

hej sverige

a bunch of lovika mitts

and of course the royal wedding was promoted

nice pictures in an otherwise, in my opinion, boring pavilion

from right side the pictures showed past history. from left side they showed present time

and for a little moment I was at home in the backwoods of härjedalen!

luxembourg had a nice sheet metal pavilion

but we never really got the human organ-thing

the netherlands had gone wild and crazy. it was really good!

not a uncommon sight

in the italian pavilion you could fallow the work of a tailor

UK's hedgehog that we didn't have time to see from the inside

yeah. you do need to do some map reading at the expo. claudia and jens

diogo bought a portuguese cake that we just had to try. well. diogo and daan.

portugal are one of the worlds biggest manufacturer of cork. so the whole pavilion was in cork.
